I actually went "skiing" with my mom, aunt and grandma today. I just walked next to the tracks since I do not have skis.

The total price of 1 334 874 is not quite as bad as it may sound for any American, though it is a lot compared to the price of a house in Houston.

Selling

I have decided to sell my appartment, I am tired of being broke and would like to have some more money to have fun with Troy. Being worried about not having enough money for clothes for Troy just sucks. The joys of being a single mom. Actually I love both being single, and being a mom, I just don't like being broke.
Tomorrow afther 4 pm Norwegian time, (that should be 10 am central time). My neighbor just sold her appartment, but she only had on couple at the open house. I sure hope I will have more people show up at my open house. According to my realtor (who is super expencive) we should have the open house Monday or Tuesday.
Good news is that I got some money back on my taxes so I do not have to sell right away, I can afford to stay for a while longer if I have to.

I am affraid that my cell phone bill may increase now that I have started blogging from my cell. I just think it is so cool to be able to send a little update while Troy and I are outside, and you can't beat not having to download pix to the computer before posting.

Bed time

Troy really likes to go to bed around the same time every evening, and he does not mind telling our visitors that they have overstayed their welcome - according to him that is. Tonight my brother and step dad were visiting and he was patient. 7 pm came around and he did not say anything, but when we were coming up on 8, he had had enough. He told them: I am going to bed now, bye bye.

Sleep habits

I know I have been very lucky with Troy. Usually at 7-8pm he asks me to go to bed, I lay down with him for like 15 minutes and he is sound asleep until I go to bed. He has never even attempted to get out of bed, and he has always slept in my bed, so he can easily get out if he wants to. Well there is a first time for everything, tonight he actually came running in to the living room about an hour after he went to bed. Luckily all he wanted was for me to tuck him in again. Let's hope he will not get any ideas from this.

I've spent the weekend painting molding and doors, and it feels like an ungrateful job. When Troy came home from his daddy weekend, he looked around and said: fint det e mamma (it looks nice mamma).
