Trust

How do you trust the somone with the most precious thing you have in this life, when that person can not deal with you at all? It is a question I've asked myself a lot lately. I was left, so why be jealous of me?

We have decided to finally tell Troy that he is going to be a big brother. I am not sure of the due date, but it should give him a little time to get used to the idea. I am not sure if he will really understand it.

I'll be back soon

We do not yet have internet at our new place so I am not able to do regular updates. I try to use the opportunity when I visit my mom.
Odin and I went to a parent teacher conference a little while ago, and I have to admit I have never been prouder.
His teacher told us that he is doing great, and that he is well ahead of where he should be. He is talking like a much older child, he really pays attention to stuff and he is good at playing with the other children. She said that he is usually the one that gets the other kids to play. He is really good at role playing. Tiril is still his girlfriend, and they play mom and dad a lot. His teacher was raving about him and we were just sitting there beaming. Afterwards we decided to take him out for Pizza (at the one and only restaurant in Børsa) to celebrate.
I am always proud of Troy, but I am his Mom, so it was great to hear someone else tell me what a fantastic little boy I have.

Kittens are scary

Today we went to my sister to pick out a kitten. Celina ran ahead to the basement to get the kittens, she came running back with one holding it up and proudly showing it to Troy. He took one look at the thing and ran screaming out of the basement, telling everyone that he does not like kittens, they are scary!!! There was just no way I could convince him that the kittens were not dangerous. I still ended up picking out two kittens that we are getting in a few weeks. He loves cats, so I know he will be happy to get them. They might just have to stay with my sister untill they are not as small and scary.
He is happy to discuss what we should name them. So far he either wants: Pelle and Pysa, Emil and Ida, Pinky and Synnevea or Pippi and Mr Nelson.
